goal setting, communication and visualization |
| What is it? |
|
The process engages clients in learning new proactive
techniques to create and reach their personal goals. Clients
learn how to filter communication, develop visualization
skills, plan and execute all stages of goal setting.
Techniques learned during sessions are a combination of
different psycho-educational tools; psychotherapy practices
theories, motivational interviewing and self-esteem
research. Worksheets are given to aid in building goals and
tracking progress. |
| Why is
it important? |
|
Research shows that people who have reached their
goals have been able to develop a positive progressive
step-by-step process to obtaining their goals. Research has
also shown that the major factors in people who are deemed
successful and healthy share three common characteristics
